Keep your Driver Support Manager advised of any problems in the car. Give specifics and advise what action you have taken. Initially some problems may be resolved by changing seats, changing drop off order, or asking teachers or parents for advice. However, the office staff will support you in any areas of conflict. They can also contact the schools and parents involving them in any discipline that may be necessary.
Any student / parent issues must be documented by using an Incident Report. These should be completed within 24 hours of the incident (preferably the same day). Depending on the details or seriousness of the report, the school and/or parent will be contacted. All reports should be submitted to the DSM via the Incident Report Form. A link to this form can be found on the Tristar Driver Portal. If additional information or details are needed, you will be contacted by the or another member of the Operations Staff. The vehicle’s camera will also be accessed to support the report.
